Is there a filter on the shower drain pump on the Beneteau Oceanis 40?

I am reffering to the main shower. Not the forward one on the three cabin version.

Where is it? I cannot find one.

What kind of pump is it? I know some Beneteau's use the Whale Gulper as their shower drain pumps- those do not need a filter as they are a diaphragm pump. Not sure if this helps.

My shower pump is a diaphragm, and it has a strainer and it's my opinion due to hair, it needs a strainer.

You do not need a strainer on a gulper - it eats hair with ease! :-) If you do put in a strainer, all you will do is block up the strainer with hair that would have just passed through the pump anyway.

Yeah, that's why I was asking about the Gulper. They are boss. Anyways, if you are looking for the strainer or filter, why can't you just follow the drain and it should be in line?
