Paving Paint

Forgive me if this has been thrashed out before but a bloke at Marsden Cove Marina said he used paving paint on his decks and got 10 years out of it! Anyone tried it?

I have not tried it but why would you not use a marine paint?

For wooden boats with canvas decks Gannon & Benjamin uses an elastomeric paint which works very well, sanded and unsanded. Don't know how it would work on fiberglass, but I think it would be similar.
