Rigging

I haven’t tensioned my rigging since having it rerigged.How often do u do this and what is the best way to do it without getting a rigger please

I use two crescent wrenches. One to hold the wire still and one to turn the turnbuckle.

The classic rig tension device is a Loos gauge. Perhaps you can get the tension numbers from the manufacturer. I don’t know if riggers will rent you one and give you an idea. When I raced I used one most every time and adjusted rig tension to wind and sea conditions. I now never do after initial set up unless it looks like the rigging has slacked.
