Sail Harlingen batt car system

I’m having a heck of a time raising and lowering the fully batten main sail on my Tartan 31 boat. I’ve seen different ball bearing systems to attach to the mast. Any recommendations?

Re: Sail Harlingen batt car system

Hey,

we use this system for some time now on the full battan main of Lady Rover and are very happy with it:

Works without the need to add a track. The rollers slide on the back of the existing mast.

Greetings to Harlingen, it used to be my home harbour for few years.
