I have a Globalstar Sat-Fi Satellite WiFi hotspot kit with external marine helix antenna for sale. It is brand new, comes in the box with all the accessories in their original packaging. It came with a boat we recently purchased, however it has never been installed.
This is an excellent piece of kit if you’re thinking of setting up offshore communication capability for your boat. No need for sat phones or expensive cradles – connect the black box hotspot to an external satellite antenna (mushroom –type, included) and then use an app on your mobile or any wi-fi enabled device to make calls, send texts & emails, receive weather reports, update social networks etc. anywhere in the world. Up to 8 people can connect to this hotspot simultaneously. You will of course need to purchase a satellite minutes plan through Globalstar – this kit takes care of all the hardware requirements.
