Looking for a Boatyard to Haul out and Dry dock our 65 ft powerboat in West Florida

We have a 65 ft (110,000 pounds) motor yacht with 18 ft beam, 5.5 draft and height 25 ft. Electricity req is 50 amp. With this, we are looking for a haul out and dry dock liveaboard (we will leave one crew while we are away) for our yacht for the months of May to August 2017 that will not eat all our bank account. We are currently in Rio Dulce and will be moving north all the way to Florida and is thinking of bringing our boat to the west part of Florida. Any suggestions are well appreciated

You might try contacting Gulf Marine Ways in Fort Myers Beach, FL. I have used them and can vouch for their good work and they are all great people. And that time period is the "off-season" hereabouts so maybe they can help you out.
Phone is (239) 463-6166 email is mgr@gulfmarineways.com web is Marine Service – Fort Myers Beach, FL - Gulf Marine Ways & Supply Inc
Ask for Sherry, she runs the place. Tell her I said hi.

The difficult part is with leaving a crew aboard. Most places do not permit liveaboards on the hard *or* in the water.

You might try Snead Island Boatworks in Palmetto, FL.... they are expensive, but the best in this area.

Also ask N.E. Taylor's in Cortez, FL.

Glades Boat Storage is owned and operated by boaters, do it yourself boat storage, no tides, fresh waterOut of Fort Meyers on the Okeechobee Waterway. Cheap, cheap... DIY yard, livaboard allowed. Only drawback, 15 miles from supplies but usually someone going to LaBelle. Quiet, well inland from hurricane issues, great place to lay up.

Good luck

We contacted them prior to posting this and were informed that our boat is too big for them
