Hey Shooze, I would prefer something around Freo but thanks for your suggestion, I will give Mindarie a call and see what they have. Thanks.

Re: Catamaran Pens in Perth Australia

Hi John
There has been very little foresight in planning pens (for cats) in WA:
I don’t have recent information about marinas North of Perth, but I am sure Jurien and Geraldton will have some and I have never seen Dongara full either.

From Perth Southwards:
Perth / Fremantle / Hillarys: very little available, more a question of having the right contacts, I think.
Mandurah: no space for cats as far as I know
Bunbury: 1 pen free for a 10-12 mt cat, plus some moorings available
Busselton: has some pens for cats
Albany: some pens for cats available, including for a large one

When checking your profile, it seems you are still buying a cat overseas, and by the time you arrive here, 1 to 2 years from now, the situation may have changed. BTW, many marinas are managed by the Department of Transport, and won’t allow you to rent or to be added to the wait-list unless you have a boat in your name and registered in WA.

Thanks Hank, some great info there. Yes a couple of years before we get a Cat back to Perth and I'm beginning to think just worry about it then.

You might also want to look into whats being planned for Rockingham. Perhaps give the Cruising Yacht Club a call.
