I need to find a
trailer for this
boat soon. I saw one on CL about 6 months ago for $1K that'd have worked just fine for up to a 30' - but I didn't have anything to haul it with and have just kept her in the slip. Now I'd like to save on slip
fees and get her on a trailer to do some trailer launching and check out some other lakes.
It doesn't have to be a perfect trailer, but please let it be enough to make the trip, maybe get a smidge of TLC, then be enough to haul her once for a 2hr trip, then short 15 min trips from that point on and not need anything major for about 6 months or a year. Bottom line is it can't fail with the
boat on it for the first trip. Please be straightforward about any needs...I'm not a trailer expert and will expect your honest
advice about its needs over the next 12-18 months.
I have a Chevy 3500 and can tow 10K# with a weight distributing hitch. Just need a good fit for this boat.
