Return trip bahamas florida

Hi,

As our trip winds down I am planning the route back to florida.
Currently in marsh harbor and will explore for another 10 days?
Planning to make it to west end then return to florida.

Looking for best route and heading back to florida. What is best heading to say lake worth inlet?
I see so much about going to bahamas but not much about returning.

thanks

Really depends on where you want to end up in FL. We go to north FL so we ride the Stream up the coast. Lake Worth Inlet and West End (Memory Rock) are nearly on the same latitude so you're going to have to allow for the northerly set steering more southerly depending on your speed and the strength of the Stream.

Thanks. That's what I figured. We started at Rodriguez cay going to Bimini and I calculated our speed at 5 knots. Had to keep readjusting north as there wasn't much of a current. Probably only one knot if that. I'll check the speed before we leave and set a course based on that

Go eat a chicken Philly and have a Kalik at Snappa's for me! I always went Marsh Harbour to Manjack Cay for a few days before heading to Great Sale, then West End, then Lake Worth.
