FedEx, or USPS. Or pack your tackle as part of your luggage on the flight. And if you must have your favorite reel with you, carry it on, & purchase a rod when you get there?
I'm not sure where the complexity is with this. Might you please clarify things.

Define the problem for us. What type of fishing and how are you traveling?

I've seen lots of tackle shops here and as mentioned, you can always pack gear in you luggage. I would check first with TSA but think lures with hooks would be considered under the 2" rule, so you could even take them as a carry on.

About the only challenge would be the pole but I've seen carriers for those in the baggage claim area.

Few years back i fabbed up a rod toter from several feet of 5" PVC pipe n glue/screw end caps. Airline checked it with zero grief. Did some awesome fishin when I arrived.

True story.
