Crew Available: Experienced Crew for Pacific Crossing (March 2020)

Hello,

I'm a 36-year old Canadian sailor, looking to build my ocean miles and cross the Pacific next Spring. I'm seeking a boat that is leaving from Mexico and heading to the Marquesas Islands in March or April, 2020.

My experience and qualifications:

Offshore:
- One of four crew that delivered an engine-less, gaff-rigged ship from Alaska to Washington (July 2019)
- Sailed double-handed down the Baja Peninsula (Nov 2018)
- Sailed from New Zealand to Tonga (2015)

Racing:
- Regular race crew with the Canadian Forces Sailing Association (2018-2019)
- Swiftsure International Race (May 2019)

Other:
- VHF radio license
- Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC)

I don't get seasick - I've sailed through some pretty big gales without getting sick, which I'm grateful for as a sailor. I'm a reliable watch keeper, and comfortable in small, shared communal spaces (have crewed on boats with only a poop bucket or over the side!). I don't smoke, and only drink socially and when at anchor.

I'm looking for a boat and captain, who preferably has crossed the Pacific before, and is well-equipped with safety and emergency gear (EPIRB, Radio, radar, etc).
