OpenCPN Android WiFi Setup

I've just treated myself to an early Xmas present - em-trak B330 AIS transceiver.
I have looked at
https://opencpn.org/wiki/dokuwiki/do...al:connections
to help configure OpenCPN Ver:1.0.13 on my tablet but still not sure which settings to use.
Is there a better place to look or can anyone offer advice?
In the OpenCPN Connections Tab should I use TCP, UDP or GPSD Protocol?

I have set the B330 WiFi settings to:
IP addr: 190.160.0.11
Port number: 2000 (default)
SSID: AIS Class B (default)
Channel:11
DHC: server on (default)

Likely TCP, but from the information you have provided nobody can be 100% sure.

Whether it is using TCP or UDP protocol. GPSd integrated in the gadget is highly unlikely.
As written earlier, I would try TCP first.

Monty..

1. From the em-trak manual, I would suspect UDP transmission protocol. Not clear there, though. The words say "NMEA data is streamed continuously over the Wifi connection."

2. Have you associated and connected your device to the access point created by the em-trak device? (Looks like the SSID is "AIS Class B")
