Hello from Southern Moreton Bay, Queensland

Hello. Not new to the idea of cruising though with more than one attempt over the years at getting out of harbour the dream still awaits fulfillment.

My present boats:
40' Wharram catamaran, now sailable but there are still a few things I'd like to sort out.
30' outrigger sail and motor canoe, my own design, actually completed and sailed. Some modifications planned.

I'm more repairer and builder than sailor, so getting involved in this forum will hopefully bring things around for me a bit. Thanks.

Aloha and welcome aboard!
Repairing and building will take time away from actually sailing. I got caught up with too many projects and was fortunate enough to sail with a club and many good friends while still working on the projects.

Re: Hello from Southern Moreton Bay, Queensland

Thanks Ann, Gord, and John. I enjoy getting out on other peoples boats (good advice for sure and doesn't happen nearly enough) but when I do I get obsessed with getting my own boat finished!! Still, I'd have to say 99.5% preparing and 0.5% boating. Cheers.
