Fountaine Pajot - Discount - if any?

Should I expect to get a discount of list price when purchasing a Helia 44 or New 47?

Are there any owners out there who got a discount from FP? And what should I reasonable expect?

Right now with production out a year or more on both of these boats the short answer is no. You might find a dealer willing to cut you a "deal" but not FP. Even then it won't be a huge discount. The real money saver is the Euro exchange rate.

Or visit them on a boat show, lots of deals with discounts are signed there. Tell you prefer a leopard but your wife wants FP,or the opposite I can't remember. And leopard already offered a nice discount, then ask what will they do for you. Play with competition
-> saw that on another old thread

Re: Fountaine Pajot - Discount - if any?

As said already, FP is not selling any boat directly, hence they cannot offer any discount. The dealers have 15% commission (for Lucia, Helia and Saba) a bit less for larger versions. They might also have a year end premium if they reach their sale quota.
The dealers can give away from their commission and offer a discount or extra accesories free of charge. This depends a great deal on the competition
in a given country with other brands. Charter companies also enjoy some nice discounts if they buy more than one boat. (up to 7-12%)

Cheers
