Hi Chris I`m heading "down" to the Whitsundays this year so it would be good to catch up with another CF èr I am departing in approx. 4weeks and will spend some time at my fav spots on the way so will be there some time in May. We've got a mooring in Shute Harbour. We'll be moving our new to us boat there next month and'll take a week or two to cruise around while we're at it.

Fortunately our time is our own so trying not to put a firm time frame or destinations in place.
However weather and boat jobs permitting we will leave Bribie mid May and want to be back this way by late November. Might get as far as the Palm Island / Hinchinbrook area.

Exciting to say the least. Swell was breaking at way point one so had to hold for a break in the sets to start the run. 6 to 7m depth reduced to 5.5m 400m west of wp1. Once committed kept slightly north of the direct rout between wp1 to wp2 as this was deeper water. Now we have heavy rain.
