Greek Islands Lagoon 380 Mooring Fees

Hello sailors,
our crew from Oz are looking at hiring a bareboat Lagoon 380 for two weeks in Sept 2012 to do a Greek Island sail. Athens based & return. Plan to sail every second day & just explore islands on lay days.
We are three mature couples, not looking for party places.
Early days in our plans. Do any kind readers have an idea what a typical mooring (on pier or anchor) would cost on Greek Isles? We will buy "Greek Waters Pilot" book to assist our planning.
Cheers
George & crew

G'Day the costs vary from island to Island but in the peak of summer it goes up (june July august) I am currently moored up at syros Finakas bay and it is costing me 6 euros a day or 13 euros if you use water and power but for cats they do whack a 50% on top of the mono hull fees that are due

we had 2 weeks on an Lavezzi40 in summer 2009. payed 5 euros for filling wather in Miros, thats it. did spend a lot on anchor.
------
And on a mono 39 in 2005 payed 1,86 pr day in Hydra. + 7 in Poros for el and wather. Pr. day. also 2 weeks.

Have a good trip and dont worry. one round of drinks cost more.

Re: Greek Islands Lagoon 380 Mooring Fees

September is the best month in the Med IMO. The peak season tourists are disappearing, the sun still shines 99% of the time, and the water is warm (Unlike June where it is still quite cool). The best thing about Greece is that most places have public quays and not private marinas, so although basic they are dirt cheap compared to other places in the Med, like Turkey, Italy, France etc, where you would expect to pay in the order of 80 Euro per night for a 38 foot cat. (Some places are much more expensive than that too!) You won’t be able to book space, you just have to pick your arrival times, but what do you expect for about 5-10 Euro per night? Water is extra, but also cheap.
It doesn't cost anything to drop anchor.
