Sailing in St.Augustine Florida

Looking for help with finding someone to take my wife and myself for a day sail While we are in St. Augustine Florida the week of May 13 thru the 19th. We went on a week long sail on the Chesapeake Bay last year for our anniversary and would like to find some place to sail while in St. Augustine during those dates. Doesn't even need to be a full day sail, just a few hours!!! Just to get our sailing FIX.again!! I know this may be far fetched finding some one but at least I tried.

Awesome forum. Hopefully purchasing a sailboat soon for Lake Erie.

Thanks. Just delete this if it isn't allowed

I don't know anyone in the area, but you could try calling the municipal marina or Camachee Cove marina and ask if they know anyone that could help you out. Good luck!

If you are looking for a range of day charter options, these guys have very reasonable rates and have all sorts of packages available.

St. Augustine Sailing boat

Alternatively, you can contact someone through the St. Augustine Cruisers Net on facebook.

Re: Sailing in St.Augustine Florida

There is a day sail boat at the municipal marina. It's a 65'ish steel schooner and they take out tourist for short sails. It docks at the municipal marina. Not to be confused with the stupid "pirate" ship.

Schooner Freedom Charters

Might do the trick.

For bareboat, I would call Sailtime at Comanche Cove.904-829-0648. Speak with Carol or Alan. Several options.

Good luck.
