Belize 43 owners operating manual

Does anyone have a link to a Belize 43 Maestro owners operating manual if such a thing exists.
Also any links to archived information at FP that might be useful to have.
I have looked all over the FP site to no avail.
Thanks
Wayne

The actual FP "operating manuals" are not really very useful at all. You will not get one form the FP site.

We have had one for the Mahe and one for the Orana. Both with no real information.

Crawling around the boat is the best way to get your information I am afraid.

Re: Belize 43 owners operating manual

Hi Paul
When you get a chance post a photo or two of your new boat. Did you buy her here in Oz?
Look forward to downloading a .pdf copy of the Belize 43 manual in time.
Good luck with all the works, maybe you could keep us advised as you progress.

Re: Belize 43 owners operating manual

Hi Wayne

I'll post some pics very soon. I'm currently in PNG for work but I live in cairns and the boat is in townsville where I bought her. She needs a good clean and polish after I have finished the mechanical and rigging overhauls .. But.. Being a Belize she has good "bones" and attractive lines..

Where did you buy yours? I was looking OS but it ended up being cheaper buying in Australia after a trip to Singapore and Indonesia to see others.

My hard top Bimini concept is evolving .. I like the chunky stainless steel frame look but not sure whether to go soft or hard top over ..? The existing Bimini frame and fabric is original aluminium and now 10 yrs old and held together with many patches.

Cheers
Paul

Good luck with it all.

Try contacting Multihull Solutions in Mooloolaba Queensland, they may have some archival information.

Hi Wayne
I'm back on deck in Aus now so will start on copying the owners manual. Is there anything specific you were looking for?

Re: Belize 43 owners operating manual

Hi Paul
Nothing specific but would like to have a copy on board so if you have had a chance to scan it to PDFs I would love to get a copy.
I hope you have had a chance to spend some time on your Belize whilst back in Oz.

Re: Belize 43 owners operating manual

Hi Wayne

I've tried scanning the manual but am having issues.. It's been laminated in some sort of reflective laminate that acts like hi viz material ?

I'll try photographing without flash and see how that goes ?

Cheers, Paul

Re: Belize 43 owners operating manual

Paul,

Would you mind emailing me a copy of the Belize 43 owners operating manual?

Also, how do you connect your mainsail reefs to the mast. There is a looped strop on one side of the mast and and eye on the other.

Do you pass the strop through the cringle and use a snap shackle onto the eye?

Thanks for any assistance you can provide.

Peter

When I do receive the manual I would be happy to pass it along providing Wongai has no objections.
Maybe someone else can chime in on the mainsail reef for you.
