head asymmetrical
spinnaker made by
Hood Sails with orange, yellow, and white
panels. The sail is equipped with control lines in the leech and foot. This sail is in excellent condition. An ATN Spinnaker Sock is included to make this sail very easy to hoist and lower. An ATN Tacker is included to allow the headstay to support the tack of the spinnaker. The ATN Sock adds 14" to the overall hoist length of the sail and the down-haul adds 7", so the overall hoist along the luff is approximately 38'. A 50' tack down-haul line is included to allow the down-haul to be routed to the
cockpit for control when sailing short handed. Also, a pair of high strength turning blocks are included with loops made of T-900 line to be attached to the vessel's aft
docking cleats which then serve as sheet turning blocks. The
sheets included are high strength and very light and are long enough to allow jibing of the deployed sail. With the
rigging included, this sail is ready to go, easy to fly and great fun. The
price of this sail and
equipment is $1,450. This
price is less than half the cost of all this
equipment purchased new. This sail is located in South
Texas along the
Gulf Coast.
