In need of a replacement Danfoss BD35F compressor I placed an order with DC Fridge Australia DC Fridge Australia – boat caravan RV fridge repairs and sales at 1330 yesterday.

Received a call at 0900 today ( Friday ) from Laurie at DC Fridge, no BD35Fs in stock so substituting a BD50F at no extra cost and it should be here on Monday. The 50 has the same footprint as the 35 but is more 'powerful'.

I'm impressed.

Be prepared, while the BD50 has 30% more capacity , it also uses more power then the BD35 .

note that by changing the resistor you can change the RPM of the DB series; the DB50 can be run as slowly at 2000 RPM which will cut power use in half...
