Best Liveaboard Marinas in South Florida with teens

Hi all. We are looking for a marina in the Jupiter/Palm Beach/Delray/Ft. Lauderdale area to keep a liveaboard boat to use as a vacation home. Probably a 35-40'. I found Bahia Mar Yachting Center which seems to have it all. Are there any other locations anyone can recommend?

We have family in Boynton so don't want to be too far north or south. Kids are 12 and 15. Looking for easy pool and/or beach access, a little bit of life we can walk to (restaurants, shops, etc.), nice laundry facilities, etc.

Thanks!
Marla

Many of us have used our boats as floating condos. Although many would like to untie the lines & take off, that's not reality for many people. Our boats become a place to retreat to & if we get a chance to go "cruising" for a couple of weeks, we're lucky. If your intent is to have a get away, that doesn't mean you need to find a marina that allows "liveaboards".
Make sense? Good luck on your search.

There are multiple places in Stuart Florida Mariner Cay very nice, Sailers return, Hinckley Marine, Marriott. Boynton is less than an hour from Stuart. Most likely cheaper the than fort lauderdale

Loggerhead Stuart, pool, lil restaurant, close to inlet, peck lake, etc. West End not far away Pay the extra to be on the north pier.

Keeping your boat at Bahia Mar would allow you to brag that you're at the same marina as was the "Busted Flush" owned by Travis McGhee (author John D MacDonald). It would make the reading of those numerous novels quite poignant.

Check out Nettles Island Marina. I have not been there in a few years, but the place had some appeal,- short walk to the beach; friendly community; not the big city glitz.

I used to think about that everytime we would drive past Bahia Mar when we lived near there. i would always tell my wife, "That's where Travis Magee keeps his boat."

She would fall or it every time and say, "Who's he?".
