I'm not sure they will cast custom. Maybe. I had custom bronze castings done in Seattle and Tacoma, but 20 years ago... dont know if they are still around or not...?

I just was curious about this detail. Sailboat data shows the following mesaurements:

Lord Nelson 35: LOA 43, LWL 31.33
Lord Nelson 41: LOA 41, LWL 36.20

Is that right? Despite carrying an extra 5 feet of waterline, another foot of beam, and 10,000 pounds more ballast the 41 is two feet shorter overall than the 35?

My guess is that the measurement of the 35' includes the bowsprit, but not so for the 41'.

I believe the mistake here is Saildata got it mixed up. The 41, they listed as 41 LOA but they are actually 41 on deck
