Couple available as linehandlers through Panama Canal - Jan 2017

Hi everyone,
I was searching for sites to post our availability to help through the Panama Canal this month and came across this forum. It seems like a great wealth of information, I already got sidetracked reading other topics, thank you!

My apologies if this is not the correct location to post this as I try to navigate the many topics. Please steer me in the correct direction if there is another better location. My boyfriend and I will be arriving in Panama City around January 22/23rd via a friends 42' yacht. His passage through the canal has already been booked by family and so we are looking to help out on a boat to experience the canal.

We are both late 20's, easy going and willing to share boat duties. My boyfriend, Mitch, is from Australia and has extensive small boat sailing experience. I grew up in the Canadian Rocky Mountains so the cruising world is a new one for me but I am a quick learner! I do have knot and rope experience from rock climbing and have first aid certifications.

there is also a website called Panama Line Handler - Intro where volunteers put down their availability.
or go and put a note on the noticeboard in Shelter Bay Marina or make a post on FB in either Panama Cruiser Group or San Blaas Cruiser Group.
