Coppercoat maintenance

Hi everyone, I pulled our boat out of the water for the Mediterranean "winter" and the hull looked really clean and in top shape but after 6 weeks I payed a visit to the boatyard to check things and found that some spots might need attention but I am not sure what, if anything, should be done. The hull was treated with coppercoat and epoxy by the previous owner in 2008 with new layer of coppercoat applied in 2014. The surveyor mentioned it should be good for a couple of years more. However I found that in some spots things are peeling off and also it appears like there is some sort of oxidation happening .. see attached pics. Can anyone comment what should be done (if anything) before the boat gets put back in the water next year? Thanks!!!

The green patina is normal for copper exposed to air.... the chipping needs to be sanded fair and recoated. Make sure to use a barrier coat on metal parts.

Thanks for your answer.. how should I recoat this? Buy some Coppercoat and apply after resanding and that's it? Or do I have to apply epoxy and then coppercoat? Thanks!!

Coppercoat is in two parts - copper powder and a special epoxy (itself a two part mixture). You need both to apply the product. Don't try to use ordinary epoxy.
The green oxidation is good. Cuprous oxide is a stronger antifouling than pure copper. The best state is when the whole hull is green.
This at least is what Coppercoat say. I have struggled this year with coral worm, which sticks like hell to Coppercoat, and makes the process of keeping the hull clean more difficult than conventional antifouling - a great disappointment as the first year with Coppercoat was brilliant.
