Hi everybody,

EWOL is a new vendor on CF, so I wish to introduce our company and product.
We were born in 1997, are quite known in Europe and you'll be seeing our products much more in the US in the future.
Our stainless steel feathering props EWOL have higher Disc Area Ratio and a more clever blade shape than other sailing props on the market, this assures stronger thrust and good speed without compromising the reduction of drag and good maneuverability typical of feathering propellers. Fine pitch setting (precision of 0.25° corresponding to about 30-50 rpm at each step) assures best matching of prop to the specific boat.
The prop can be easily installed underwater in less than 5 min and pitch can be modified underwater in less than 20 secs.

A question, how's the corrosion resistance? Bronze bearings and SS alloy, no zinc?

Thank you for confirmation TeddyDiver, corrosion resistance is very good, we have never experienced any issues. Some of our props are more than 15 years old and still working well without any pitting or crevice.
There is a zinc nose anyway, for added safety against any possible corrosion.

Hi,
I bought an Ewol in May for my Freedom 32 to replace my Piranha (maybe the worst propeller ever). I'm very enthusiast about the Ewol, everything they tell it's true. I have more maneuverability, more speed sailing and motorizing, and less fuel consumption. My boat is in Hilton Head Island SC and from my marina to go sailing I have to motorize out of the creek through Harbor River, sometimes against 4-5 knots of currents (sometime makes difficult also leave land from the dock). With Ewol the boat is so responseve and I don't need to fight to go out of the dock. I also gained 1.5-2 knots in speed and I have more time to enjoy sailing. I can not be more happy and I highly recommend this propeller.

Seems you have a very expensive product that didn't perform as well as some of the cheaper props.
