USCG Rescues Sailors Off Bahamas VIDEO

A Coast Guard Air Station Clearwater MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew forward deployed to Great Inagua, Bahamas, hoists two people from a disabled sailing vessel near Acklins Island, Bahamas, on Sunday. The 36-foot sailing vessel was found hard aground on a reef after the two people activated their personal locator beacon. Full video at goo.gl/OggOqg

Always something to be learned ... appears when the boaters in their PFDs floated free of the hard aground vessel, they employed some sort of painter attached to the boat. Good idea, since if the hoist failed, at least they were not going to drift out to sea. Filed away in my abandon ship notes.
