ISO Catalina (Yankee) 38 sails

Hi all!
I know this is a total long shot but I'm in need of new-to-me sails for my 1986 Catalina 38. My current main is the original that came with the boat 29 years ago and it's really getting to the point of no return. I'm not quite in the market yet to buy new but I'm willing to pay a couple hundred for something that is less used than mine. Also looking for a cruising 135 and/or a 150.
Located in the Boston area.

I: 49.80'
J: 15.50'
P: 44.00'
E: 11.50'

Feeling hopeful,
Madde

I have an old Bristol 35.5 main that is short on the hoist and a bit long on the foot- if you have the boom length it might work. Replaced it for racing- decent condition but baggy and slow for me.

Hank or furling jib?

The IRO rig doesn't allow much room for specification changes which makes this a very frustrating search. BUT it's much easier to have people say "my dimensions are close!" than looking through all of sailboat data for a match!
Furling jib!

try Minney Yacht Surplus, they have one beater main, plus others that might fit for a few hundred. Mainsails

Google "Used Sails"

Try The Sailwarehouse

Investigate what other boats may have similar if not identical dimensions, like a Catalina 36 tall rig for example.

Good luck

Check out Pineapple Sails on-line used inventory-

Pineapple Sails Sailmaker

They are very reputable and the descriptions are accurate.

Cheers!

Minney's is a good resource. Check them out. They allow returns with full refund (less shipping) if you are not happy.

Re: ISO Catalina (Yankee) 38 sails

They never came up in my searches so I'll have to check them out! I checked Bacon and a local sail loft with no avail. Thank you all!
