Having sailed on a 31 a 37 and a 40, I really like the Searunners but I would certainly consider a Harris or a Cross. It is not a very good idea to only look within a narrow parameter. Among the various cruising trimarans,
interior layout and CONDITION matter the most. Refitting an old
boat is expensive (I am doing it now) so finding one that someone else has spent the time and
money on can be a real plus. Also, on a 2000K mile
passage the various cruising Tris will probably only be a day or two apart and that is probably from the
skipper, not the
boat. It is your choice and your dollars, but a slightly wider focus might serve you well. Best of Luck and Fair Winds. Grant.
