Re: Gemini yahoo Forum

Can't be of too much help to you, because I haven't joined the group. Apparently you must have a Yahoo account, one of the reasons I haven't signed up. And then must be approved by the group to join.

If you do join let me know the details.

Approved by the group?....what?
I don't know if I have a Yahoo account or not.....??!!
Why is everything so hard.....?
Surely someone out there has done a major "bring back" on an old Gemini....
thanks

Re: Gemini yahoo Forum

It's a great group with plenty historical posts you can dig thru and an active group that responds to questions and usually has the answers.

It's free to set up a yahoo email.

Yes, you have to ask to join but you aren't going to be turned away. It's a closed group so if someone starts spaming, they can kick you out (not going to happen if legitimately have an interest and aren't completely obnoxious).

Yes, people have done various refurbishments of Geminis. I know of a few and the group is an excellent resource.

Can't help on the rudder cages as we had a 3400 but if you post to the group, someone probably knows. Fair chance you need a welder with stainless steel experience if you need new ones.

What other parts are you looking for? Most of the hardware is standard marine kit. Just a few Gemini specific items. Most have a source or are relatively straight forward to fabricate.

Good to see, it appears you got on the group and already have responses on the rudder cages.

I was reading that on the Gemini Site, Very interesting,
Later Gems dont have it, so cant help,
Very dissapointing that the welder didnt use stainless rods to weld up your cages and it went rusty,

Hang in there, Some one will come along and answer your questions,
Not all of them live on the forums,

Cheers, Brian,

Re: Gemini yahoo Forum

I just registered but I’m in the dark about how to find the Gemini catamaran group.
I’m looking at a Gemini 3200 and would like to find some discussions on this cat.
How do I find that forum/blog??

Re: Gemini yahoo Forum

Try,

Gemini Cats @yahoogroups.com

There is a gap, and or maybe a small dash on the bottom line between the the two words,

The G and C are Capitals,

Walt is the man who runs it,

Cheers, Brian,
