A Real Affordable Offshore Cruiser in Florida?

42' Steel Ketch for $18,000

Supposedly well found offshore vessel that is ready to go cruising, and has already seen high latitudes. The equipment is worth more than the asking price!

I found this ad while looking through a Canadian classifieds, which I find interesting since the boat is located in Florida (Indiantown no less.)

I bet it won't last long...

I just hope it goes to the right people.

None of the pictures where you can see the terrain around the boat were taken in Florida. That's pretty obvious. So my question would be, how old are the pictures, and what does the boat look like right now?

Maybe it is a great deal. Or maybe not. Maybe I'm too cynical. I've seen too many boat ads where the pictures looked wonderful, but when you see the boat in person you realize the pictures are several years old and the boat has been completely neglected since.
