I believe you will find that there is no standard Lagoon fitted system do this.

I am willing to be proven wrong, as I do not know the L440 as well as my L421 and L450. I have never herd of an OEM option to do this.

Re: Fuel transfer procedure lagoon 440

Was thinking about this and how to achieve it if required. On my L450 there is a hose from both port and starboard fuel tanks that feed the generator via a change over valve. So with the addition of a DC fuel pump, some valves and hose fittings this would be the easy place to plumb in a fuel transfer system if required.

I was with a lagoon delivery captain recently and he told me that in an emergency use the electric fuel pump off the genset.

We have a system, but 99% sure it was retro fitted by the last owner and not a Lagoon Std Fit.

But if it is then it is in the Stb Engine locker on the bulkhead above the engine bay and towards the center of the boat. Two switches, one is a breaker the other turns on the pump.

Re: Fuel transfer procedure lagoon 440

Paul you got me thinking that a tap or bypass valve at the genset could be simply opened to connect the lines and the fuel should balance itself?

Re: Fuel transfer procedure lagoon 440

We had an issue with Starboard tank, and ran all engines off the port tank for a month whilst we sorted it. Easiest solution is to run two fuel lines across the hull (where steering arm is) and T the delivery pipe into the other engines fuel line after the primary filter and the return T'd into the other engines return before its tank. You could put a double three way valve in to make it permanent. A slow way to transfer some fuel would be to have the return go to the empty tank, in which case would only need one fuel line across the boat.
