Morgan 30/2 Manual Bilge Pump

1973 Morgan 30/2 currently undergoing restoration. I have been able to find little information on this boat and there are very few out there with owners that can provide any information.

On the transom (centered) there is an inlet (fill entry) with a cap leading into the lazarette area. There are no existing water (or other) lines, etc., to identify where the lines would have ran to / generated from. The cap to the inlet is not marked in any way to identify it. After speaking with one individual in Illinois, this area is for a manual bilge pump. This creates more questions and needs. Does anyone have any photos and/or diagrams for the manual bilge pump in this area?
