Good refit yards in Spanish or French mediterranean

Hi, I have a Moody sailing yacht which is berthed (at the moment) in Valencia (Spain)...I'm finding it difficult to get work done on the boat in my absence without spending hours on email and telephone calls chasing people up. Can anyone recommend a yard who does good, reliable work without constant supervision in the area between Valencia and Marseilles ?

Thanks, Graeme

Re: Good refit yards in Spanish or French mediterranean

Hello,

I would recommend Burriana Nova. It is very near Valencia some 50 KM north. I spent 2 winters in there. Good port and very reasonable prices.

There is a workshop owned by 2 brothers: Hector and Diego (this is a mechanic) and they can arrange any service or refit you need. Here is the contact:

Barlovento Servicios Navales
Marina BurrianaNova – TALLER 3
Escollera de poniente
12530 BURRIANA (CASTELLÓN)
Tel. 964 585 972 Fax 964 585 746
barlovento@barloventosn.com

Regards, Vladis

Vladis,

Thanks for the recommendation, I will get in touch with the guys and see if they can help me. It would be great as they're so close to Valencia.

Cheers,
Graeme
