Crew Wanted: Ventura, CA -> Panama Canal

Hello, I am in need of an additional crew member to sail my CT 48' to or through the Panama Canal. I currently have two crew members in addition to myself and we will be departing from Ventura on the 25th of October. We will end the trip on the Pacific side or the Caribbean side depending on the wait. It is preferable that he/she has some sailing experience but more importantly a good attitude and patience are pertinent. The boat sails very well, is fully outfitted and has a new engine, updated electronics as well as all the safety gear needed for the voyage. I will supply the food and only ask that this fourth crew member pitch in for some of the food provisions.

I am 66 years old, retired and in good health. Have sailed since my teens and still at it. Longer passages I have made in the last couple of years:
Ft. Lauderdale to VI on a Hunter 41
Jamaica to St.Maarten, non stop on a X-50
St.Augustine to Mobile on an Ericson 38
Portland to SF on a Westsail32
Last trip this august was from Dublin to Southampton.
