Comments on Hunter 42 passage, Hunter 45, hunter 45 cc, hunter 49 and 50

What can you tell me about these models, Hunter 42 passage, Hunter 45, hunter 45 cc, hunter 49 and 50, I plan to live aboard one of these and what would work for the best, I have it all planned out. I will crewed charter it as much as I can and I will spend the rest of my time cruising the world, possibly with a friend, I would like to know of one that has a workroom. What i mean by workroom is a place i can put a washing machine and use as a workshop or grow food such as tomatoes, this is not required at all though just an thing ive thought about. When i charter it i will sleep on the couch and use the 2 or 3 staterooms for guests, i will install anything else such as solar panels on my own, and 1 last thing, are any of these not comatable with watermakers? I apreciate any comments.

I have lived on my 1998 Hunter Passage 450 Center Cockpit boat for 20 years with my life partner and we both find it very comfortable. You could easily convert the front cabin to a workshop and use the berth for a workbench. I also built a removable into the engine compartment to hold my electronics and mechanical tool boxes. Can send pics on request. I am now modifying the boat for a circumnavigation and am very confident that it will handle it all very well. I have taken it from LA,CA the Sea of Cortez and back twice with no problems, including the Baja Bash twice in 12 ft waves. The boat is CE certified and handles very well. The TALL aft State Room is wonderful with the queen-size berth. Ty Williams

I own a Hunter 450CC for 20 years and (after 5 other saiboats) this boat is excellent, very confortable, reliable, well design, nothing wrong with this boat...

Its very easy to grow tomatoes in the engine room--plus you can always turn on the engine for a few minutes to wrm the tomatoes up a little. just be careful that the tomatoe vines do not get caught in the engine belts and pulley . Dont forget to add some grow lights as many engine rooms do not have many portlights. Thanks.
