I'm looking for a relatively new set of sheets and a drifter for a Cal 28-II

Carl, you don't seem to be getting much feedback, so I'll chime in with some distant advice:

Sheets are just lengths of cordage. For your Cal 28, 10 mm/3/8" is plenty big enough for strength, but many folks like larger diameters for ease of handling. Simple double braid dacron is the normal sort of rope to be looking for, higher tech is of no great advantage for your application. If you are severely budget constrained, many serious racers discard bits of line that are still quite usable in less severe situations, so wandering around marinas on race days and asking pointed questions might get you some free, or nearly free sheets.

For used sails, we used to go to Bacon & Associates, who specialize in second hand sails and equipment. They have on line catalogs, and in our experience (years ago) their prices were fair and their descriptions of condition very conservative (unlike private vendors who may be tempted to exaggerate the condition of their wares). There are several other large second hand vendors... Minney's on the west coast is one such, and some googling will undoubtedly uncover some more.

Occasionally you might luck out here on CF and find what you want, but despite the large membership numbers, the actual number of folks with boats and with spare stuff is fairly small compared to the pros!
