Experience with Caraïbes Catamarans in St. Vincent

Looking at booking a week-long charter out of St. Vincent this spring. Anyone have experience with Caraïbes Catamarans. Looks to be a small private company with French ownership HQ in Martinique.

Will you take the boat from Martinique?
If yes, a week is a bit short to sail from Martique to the Grenadines and back up.
Unless you go one way
They are just fine.

Re: Experience with Caraïbes Catamarans in St. Vincent

Thanks for reply. We are starting out of St. Vincent and have 8 days on the boat to do a round trip charter. I’ve sailed with BVIYC twice, and Sunsail in Australia. Both are larger outfits (Sunsail, much). Was just concerned on how a small Co in remote location (compared to VI’s) with few boats handles maintenance, and can cover issues with so limited local facilities alternatives.

Smaller companies have to compete against giants. They have to be better or they will die out.
I have used smsller companues many times and did have issues a few times and they where promptly taken care of.

I would not worry, the boats are fairly recent.
You will love the Grenadines.

"Catamaran" you say? You should be ok-- unless you run into a storm.
