pirate Canadian Female look to sail in Asia and South Pacific

Hi Everyone,

I am an adventurous female traveler looking to become an experienced sailor and see the world at the same time.

I am currently in this part of the world but eventually would like to circumnavigate. I am a fast learner and have a positive attitude towards life!
I am a great cook and a story teller

Happy sailing!

I wish you had come on line sooner , I've been in Squamish the last two months , going back to Mexico tomorrow , where my catamaran is , do some maintenance, and then sail down south ,and eventially through the Pacific Islands to South East Asia . Sound good?Drop me a line .

I am currently in Timor, Indonesia. (I don;t think being in Van would have helped ). Pottering around in Indo (doing Raja Ampat and West Papua) fo a bit and then jumping onto PNG. Thiking it might be safer to sail around PNG than Waltz in with a big backpack .

If you have any advice for finding around here, I am open to it.

Thanks

Sailing would be safer , pity your on the wrong place , sailing through the Islands from there is the wrong way around .
Best of luck .

Hi!
Where are you? I am in Fiji, looking for additional crew to sail to New Caledonia in a few days, then to New Zealand early november.
My wife and I are aboard an Amel 54 ketch.

Try the Sail Indonesia or VEGA FB pages. However, this is a bad time of the year for either SE Asia (most vessels are already approaching Singapore) or the Pacific (cyclone season on the way)

Re: Canadian Female look to sail in Asia and South Pacific

Contact Capt. Jack on trimaran Naga. Awesome boat, awesome captain. I sailed with him for 13 years. He wants to finish circumnavigating, he is now in thailand. See his web site for more info. WWW.trimaran-naga.com
I left to return to the Caribbean and buy my own boat. He is currently looking for crew, I believe. Tell him chrissi says hi.

Re: Canadian Female look to sail in Asia and South Pacific

Hi,
my name is Sebastian, 36 years old and sailing around the world since three years on a Baltic 42.
Underway I take on crew who like to join in to the lifestyle of cruising.
Right now we are the three of us in Vanuatu headed to the Solomons and PNG afterwards.
One guy will leave from Rabaul end of november and the other one maybe earlier as he got bad news from home. Otherwise he will jump out in Jayapura middle of december.
There will be a decision the next couple of days.
From there on the plan is to sail to Palau and on to the Philippines.
It`s a cost contributing trip of 25,- Euros per day in a private cabin plus shared expenses on board.

If you are interested just drop me a mail "s.niederdeppeatgmail.com"

Cheers :-)

Sebastian

Re: Canadian Female look to sail in Asia and South Pacific

Hey there,

Have you found anyone of interest? I'm a 59 year old retiring psychotherapist preparing to circumnavigate as well as run a mini charter/b n b lodging on a 44-46 cat. looking at cats in 44-46 range. ]

I would like a first mate I get along with.

I'm looking to start in carib, med or Au, not sure yet.

Drop a line if you want to chat further.

Cheers,

Rob
