Fireflies and solar panels

Installed three FF L15s yesterday. So far so good. Got the various settings for regulator and charger from the supplier. They appear to agree with information on this site.

Problem might come from our two solar panels (200w total). They have a charge limit of 15v, a boost voltage of 14.4v and a float of 13.8v. Have to admit I'm not sure what boost voltage is unless it's the typical charging voltage.

My MPPT controller can't be adjusted the way the regulator and charger can.

Will this cause problems for the batteries over time? I am planning to soon double or triple my solar power. Are there solarcontrollers better suited to Fireflies?

Any info appreciated.

Re: Fireflies and solar panels

FF have a float of 13.2 and bulk of 14.4 , you need to get a controller that can be set to these specs otherwise the batteries will suffer .
