Quite a few years ago now, but I used a place in Mascot which was probably Mascot Galvanising Works Pty Ltd, 342 King Street in Mascot, Phone (02) 9667 4328. They did a good job. Regards, Richard

Minimum job is 1 ton but they took pity on me
It was 2009 and it was crazy cheap, like $60 for 50m chain and the anchor.

If you strike out in Sydney area, check out Qld. Brisbane has at least one; also Bundaberg.

Re: Who Re-galvanises Chain Around Sydney?

Good outfit here in Adelaide. Two day turn around too. Had my chain done there earlier this year.

Apparently they get lots of work sent over from Melbourne. Perhaps the major cities are getting too pricey for these older style businesses to operate. I mean if it is cheaper to transport fabricated steel products to Adelaide and back again then the economics have gone to pot.
