Help, Islander Bahama 24, Columbia Contender 24

I really need a starting point. I am trying to replace my hatch covers on my Del Rey 24. They were in a pile in the cockpit when I got this boat. They appear to be sliding companionway covers that fit inside the cabin. They are double thin metal over ply and must have set inside of some kind of a frame. I have a few pieces of lumber but the puzzle of how it is built eludes me. Could any of you with a similar boat send me a few pics of how this goes together? I will enclose a few pics of what I am working with. Thanks..Hummmmmmmmmmm trying to upload pics but get error code about no security code. will submit prob to admin. Pics coming I hope.

I guess I must have a pretty unique companionway hatch as I haven't gotten any response. Could anyone suggest where I might look for assistance with this project? I have looked on the net and have be unsuccessful. thanks

Do any of you have the Islander 24 or Columbia 24? Work is coming along fine, but still no idea how the sliding companionway fit, I have put drop boards on an aluminum frame in doe now, but I sure would like to put the original doors on.
