The missing charts...

Hi there,
Recently I have been fervently searching for charts of the South Pacific islands, specifically French Polynesia. However I find myself at a loss for finding charts of any real use for anything but Tahiti and the like. Any sources of charts or chart books of this area would be grand. Thanks.

You could try digital charts such as Navionics+ Asia & Africa HD on an Android tablet. They have pretty good coverage.

If you want to be a luddite, download the free NZ charts and print them out.

Not to put you on the spot to divulge your best chart shopping secret sources, but what are some of the "finds" you've made that provide a decent selection of paper charts? As they're not as easy to come by as they used to be. Though modern printing shops surely do help; to print out one on file, or clone one owned by a friend. Now if I could just figure out how to stash a size XXXL printer, & lots of paper for it onboard

I just did a bit of searching and found that staples does "engineer prints" for under 10$ in very large formats.
