Do You Have a Sailing Blog?

If you have a blog or website and would like to appear on our link pages we'd be very happy to add you.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Very nice. My blog is new and humbles in comparison.

Sail Delmarva

But I just got a real cruising boat, and so the opportunities for engaging tales should grow.

Hi Drew

There's nothing wrong with your blog - it's nicely put together and easy to read. If you want us to add you to our links then hit 'link pages' in my original posting, fill out the bubble with a few words about the website and it will automatically add you.

I hope you enjoy your future adventures.

Liz

when I tried it earlier.

I'm sorry to hear that. We've had a few sign-ups today, so I know it should be working. If you still have a problem try clicking on the website, go to the tab 'friends' and you will see the icon for sailing blogs in the right hand column. Click that and you should be on the right page...

You're on! Interesting angle... I like it. We've met plenty of families over here in the Med. I think life on a boat is a brilliant way for a kid to learn (and an adult, for that matter).

Black Diamond is a 39 foot Jeanneau Sailboat that we have sailing from Toronto, Canada down the coast of the US, and spent 2 months in the Bahamas on just recently.

Would love to share our blog, Blogging aboard Black Diamond!

Thanks Ed

We're on a two year cruise with our two kids... left Annapolis on December 13th, and currently in Velcro Beach but heading for the Bahamas as soon as we can (Ft. Lauderdale to Miami to No Name in the next two weeks). Our blog is at s/v Pelican - Following A Dream.

Hi Ed and Hi Chris and Kristen

Just had a look at your blogs - both great! If you want to add them to our links page, though, you need to subscribe. Go to the page, fill in the bubble with some details about yourselves/your blog and add the url.

Here is the link again

Have you added your link to FollowTheBoat?

Thanks for all the links we have received and the words of encouragement. I have just updated the page.

If your link is on our website could I please ask you to add our link to yours? Thanks!

After a week of miserable weather and almost 48 hours of constant thunder, lightning, rain, hail and 30+ winds a small ray of sunshine has finally appeared in the cockpit. Dontcha just love these 'mild' Med winters?

We are getting ready to take off on a journey and I've been thinking of starting a blog. So, my question is: What website is commonly used? I'd really like to be able to plot position or track or both. And, of course, cheaper is better. Any suggestions?

We use WordPress for FollowTheBoat, but there are loads of useful sites out there. Here are some suggestions:

Blogger
Yachtplot
MailASail
Sailblogs
Typepad

Happy hunting!
