Neo PanaMax

Just finished crewing for friends on a Panama Canal transit (N to S). Ive transitted before, but this is the first time since the expansion... Wow...those Neo PanaMax class ships are massive.

As I understand it the new PanaMax are already the maximum size if the new locks!

Line handling for friends is a great gig

The NEOPANAMAX class limit is 366 x 49 meters. The boat in the pic is very close to those maximum dimensions.

To me its cool to spend the night on Lake Gatun, as most small boats do. Something you can only do if transiting.
