Any design idea of cockpit table?

Looking for a folding table which I can use at cockpit and cabin. Could not find suitable one, so I may DIY. Prefer wood one and easy to store.
Suggestion please!!

For a portable table, Wal Mart and other places sell a folding aluminum slatted style table for about $25. Very light weight and easy. Only about 2' x 2' though...? FOr bigger search under camping tables maybe. Pretty much like this:

I understand. Have you searched under "teak folding table".... I see dozens of them...

When I want something like this my first reaction is to start measuring up for timber. However there are a number of folding and caravan tables on the market if you Google search. My second reaction is to see sense and fit my requirements around what is available which would be quicker and probably cheaper than making one.

I measured and one Cheechako gave a link was right size but need a width, rectangular top. Found one with wooden rolled top, maybe good.

We have one of those for camping. You need a lot of area to assemble it. Personally wound not be my first choice in a confined space. A single piece top with drop down legs may be a better option. I know they do them for caravans.

Are you looking for something with legs that socket into the cockpit floor? Also, you could just look for some boat porn on yachtworld.com There or perhaps over on the wooden boat forum? And if they still have it online, Edensaw.com the wood supplier, has an amazing catalog of pics of the projects that customers have made over the years.
Other than that, I go to some of the wooden kayak & kayak kit sites when I need a serious wood addiction fix. They have some truly amazing patterns & inlays. Ditto on some of the projects on the WEST System site, & it's sister, EpoxyWorks.com

We fell in love with an elegant cockpit table we saw in New Brunswick this summer. Custom Teak top mounted on a Swedish Lagun swing arm system.svhotwire.com/lagun-table-bracket-2/. We are retiring our cockpit pole socket stock J42 table with custom drop legs for one to be built on the Lagun swing arm because it is so much more convenient, flexible, stable and easily stored.
