Weather in Greece - unusual cold

Where my boat is in Nidri/ Ionian on the hard - temp is around 0C .... (0.1C this morning) and not very sunny - battery bank also goes down to 12.2v overnight...

Woke up in Athens this morning to an inch of snow on the ground. Mountains to the north are now all snow covered.

We are in Israel and the folks down here are complaining of the weather - windy cool and rainy - 4 days nice 3 days wind cool and rain


Had a friend in Crete (hania) say he had snow on the ground and the folks in Turkey are complain about the cold winter.


SOSOSO glad we are in Israel this winter - still mostly in shorts and tees -

I will be in Greece for the first time in early April. Tell me what to expect from the weather? Will you plunge into the sea at least once? I look at the forecasts here https://ru.needcalc.com/weather/greece , it seems to be normal, but not very warm. I would like to learn from those who know from personal experience!)

I am in Corfu right now and it's 20 degrees, I went for a swim this morning, cold but refreshing. Greece is really large so it depends where you are. We were in the Ionian for all of March and the weather was clear and sat at around 17-20 degrees. The video shows the weather we received. Have fun in Greece
