Looking for information about watermaker

I was looking at the Block Island 40's and wondering if any one knows if it is feasible to install a watermake?

Where would it be located?

I figured it out. Remove 40 gal Water tank under forward vberth. Place water maker there. I would then have room for either a 20 gallon water or fuel tank.

Watermaker are generally offered as complete framed units or as separate parts hosed together. You do not need easy access to all parts of a WM. This means you can spread the install out a bit, fitting parts input spaces you may not even be using now.

We are currently installing one in the exact same place on our 38 footer. Part of the water tank we are using as a new anchor locker thus moving the chain back 4 feet.

Paul, Tha so for that info I thought it would all be grouped together.maybe able to fit a 30 gallon tank. I was think more fuel.
Plans are to fit it out for a solo non-stop circumnavigation
