Joining the crew

I've already posted on here after finding a thread I was looking for. I thought it would be proper to introduce myself. I presently own a '91 Hunter 30T. We sail a reservoir in Cheney KS outside of Wichita where I live.

Back in ancient times, our Marine Recon squadron used to deploy often with the USS Midway. We were involved in Operation Frequent Wind and Operation Paul Bunyan. That was the extent of my "sailing" prior to now. We started real sailing back in '04

I think the Hunter 30T is a nice 30’ boat for lake and protected water sailing (bays, some coastal). It has a nice design and good headroom. I like the stern design too. There are numerous Hunter owners who are members of this forum, and some are vocal in their appreciation of their brand and boats. I have occasionally recommended it to others, and if you see threads about that design, I hope you will contribute your own impressions, observations and experience.

I hope you enjoy your time on the forum and on the water too.
