Agrilia & Porto Kampos in Greece: mooring?

Anyone used this ports as a night stop?
We are with a Lagoon 400 in Sani Marina on the Kassandra peninsula (s/e of Thessaloniki) and plan to sail south to Skiathos, about 60nm leg.
We would like to break the leg in two with a night stopover in one of the two a.m. ports that are more or less midway on the western shore of the gulf of Thessaloniki.
I wonder if anyone has experience with these two ports. Any info will be appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Agrilia & Porto Kampos in Greece: mooring?

Hello,

We spent one night in Agios Ioanis when going north and in Agiokampos when going south. In the first one, we arrived about 6pm and there where several places in the quay. But between 23 and midnight several fishing boats arrived and we had to go out of the port and stay on anchor for the rest of the night. In Agiokampos, the quay is very long, new and just one fishing boat. We were there 3 nights waiting for a north wind to calm down. Then, we went to Orey in one leg. In conclusion only Agiokampos will suit your requirements even if it is a bit north,

Regards, Vladis

ps: the port in Agiokampos is a bit to the south of the small town and we had to walk 2 or 3 km north to get basic groceries.

Many thanks Vladis - exactly the info I was after.
All we need is the quay to tie to for the night and the location of the port of Agio Kampos is good for our trip south.
My accounting shows 32nm from Sani to A. Kampos and then 47nm from A. Kampos to Skiathos, as opposed to one longer leg of about 60NM from Sani to Skiathos.

If anyone knows anything about Agrilia (sometimes spelt Agrelia) I will appreciate his input.

Re: Agrilia & Porto Kampos in Greece: mooring?

Well, we are moored alongside in the S port of Ayios Kampos.
S Port still almost empty.
Well protected from N, E, & W.
Concrete quay with rubber strake. Rusted bollard and rusted iron hoops but placed conveniently along the quay.
Open to S and if there is an SE swell, it probably creeps in.
We shall explore the N port and the way to the village later.
