Sailboat Maintenance (it never ends)

There's sanding, painting, sewing, engines, electrical, electronic, solar, rigging, fuel/oil, running rigging, mast and sails...……

It's amazing how much it takes just to maintain an old 27' sailboat

I spent 3 hours sewing today and another 3 painting and there is tons more to do. Last weekend I put the sewing needle about 3/4 " into my thumb muscle since I'm quite the beginner with a sail palm

I pulled it out with a pair of needle nose pliers

Ssshh. Don’t tell anyone it is the cleaning and repairing and upgrading that we really love. We have to take the boat out every once in a while just as cover.
